Noalmark Broadcasting Corporation is searching for a General Manager for our five station cluster in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The General Manager is the person responsible for the overall operation of the stations. The successful candidate:
· Will have business knowledge, leadership ability and a technical understanding of how a station operates.
· He / She will hire and supervise the sales, engineering and on-air staff, review programming for the best sales opportunities, develops sales plans and goals, oversee billing, study and understand the station's market and approve all sales promotion campaigns.
· He / She will work closely with our Corporate Office to inform them on the clusters performance as well as maintaining accountability through reporting
· Our new General Manager should be a leader with previous experience as a General Manager or General Sales Manager.
· He / She should be a team builder and lead by example, as well as, motivate the entire staff to maximize the stations potential.
· Our General Manager will be someone who can work with the contract and on-staff engineers and technical teams to maintain the stations signals and sound.
· He / She will familiarize his/herself with current FCC requirements and ensure that we operate within those guidelines.
· He / She will be the face of the stations and will be the leader in sales, morale and innovation for the cluster
· He / She will join and participate in a local civic club and become part of the community
· Probably the most important part of this job will be, building the Local Direct Sales for the cluster. At the same time he / she will continue to grow the National, Regional and Local Agency sales.
Our General Manager is paid a base salary with a bonus structure based on bottom line cash flow. Benefits include Company vehicle, Gas and Maintenance Allowance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Continued Training, Vacation and more
