Tatum: Saturday at 3p.m., Tatum High Gym
Eunice: Sunday at 2 p.m., Eunice Gym
Jal: Sunday at 2 p.m., Jal Gym
Lovington: Sunday at 3 p.m., Lea Co. Event Center
Hobbs: Monday at 7 p.m., Lea Co. Event Center
(All ceremonies are free and open to everyone.)

Hobbs Oddfellows Lodge No. 9 will hold its Annual Pancake Breakfast from 6 a.m. til noon at 1200 N. Dal Paso in Hobbs. Cost is $4 per plate, with proceeds going to Senior Bash, scholarship charities and the Arthritis Fund. You can purchase tickets at the door.
 
The City of Hobbs is hosting a celebration of the expansion of Del Norte Park with activities from 9 a.m. til about 2 p.m., including an ugliest dog contest, live music, food and more. It’s free and open to everyone. See the new dog park, performance paviion and playground.
 
The Sons of the American Legion will hold their Annual Golf Tournament at the golf course with a 1 p.m. tee off. Call the Eunice Pro Shop to sign up, 394-2881.
 
The Seminole Volunteer Fire Dept. Women’s Auxiliary will be doing a “Fill the Boot for West” fundraiser from 7 a.m. til noon at the intersectin at 385 and 180 by the courthouse. All money raised will go to the families of the fallen firefighters in the explosion in west a few weeks ago. You can make an early donation at the Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce and at Anderson Welding.
 
The Lea County Dance will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Lovington V.F.W. just north of town on the Tatum Highway. Admission is $4. There’ll be live music and potluck refreshments. Anyone may attend.
